How to cancel

Tell JB as early as you can. Call, text, use WhatsApp, or email using the details in the footer of this page. Early notice is the single biggest factor in reducing what a cancellation costs, because it gives JB and the providers involved the best chance to release or resell the reserved time.

Cancel through JB rather than contacting a provider directly, so every part of the itinerary is unwound together.

The cancellation terms that apply to your specific reservation are set out in the booking confirmation message you receive from our team. Cancellation windows differ by service, so please read the confirmation for your booking.

Cancellation fees

  • A minimum cancellation fee may apply, which may be $150.
  • Larger bookings may carry greater supplier penalties, because more providers, vehicles, or reserved dates are involved.
  • Supplier penalties are passed through to the client at cost. JB does not mark them up.
  • Planning work already completed may remain chargeable, including itinerary building, sourcing, and coordination time already spent on your behalf.

The amount that applies to your booking is confirmed with you at the time of cancellation, and the terms for it are stated in the booking confirmation message you receive from our team.

Reservations that cannot be refunded

Some reservations become nonrefundable once the supplier cannot recover the reserved time. This is common with private aviation, yacht charters, peak-date group work, and other arrangements where a provider has held capacity exclusively for you and can no longer sell it to anyone else.

Where a booking carries that risk, JB tells you before you commit, so you know which parts of an itinerary are firm and which remain flexible.

Refunds

Any amount due back to you is refunded to the original payment method used for the booking. Refunds are not issued to a different card, account, or person.

Once a refund is issued, how quickly it appears depends on your bank and the payment method used. Card refunds, ACH, wire, and other methods each settle on their own schedule, and that part is outside JB's control.

Deposits, accepted payment methods, and the credit card processing fee are covered in the Payment and Refund Policy.

If a supplier cancels

If a provider cancels, JB makes reasonable efforts to arrange an alternative, and will contact you with the options as soon as they are known. Equivalent or upgraded substitutions require customer approval.

If no acceptable alternative can be arranged, JB works through the amounts involved with you and returns what is recoverable to your original payment method.
